Fix Headphones not working in Windows 10

  • Open Control Panel in the pop-up menu.
  • View by Category and select Hardware & Sound.

  • Click on Sound > select Headphones and click Set default button.

  • If there is no headphone option alone but Speakers/Headphone, select that and click Set default button.

  • Click OK button and reboot the computer and check if Headphone is working or not.

Solution 2: Updating Audio Driver

An outdated device driver may cause this issue. It is always recommended to use updated latest device drivers on Windows PC or laptops. Microsoft has already released new Windows update for Windows 10 users to fix bugs.
